LIIT Classic 37' Launch

This equally stunning launch designed by Andrew Wolstenholme is a 37 foot semi displacement twin screw motor vessel also built entirely of wood. She has been designed to the same high specification as the 32' with all the handcrafted detail but has extra size giving her a longer and sleeker appearance. This also provides added benefit of a luxuriously appointed fore cabin with a double berth. The twin 225hp Volvo D4 engines will provide an efficient cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 24 knots.

She was launched in July 2008, the pictures below are from her sea trials in the Carrick Roads. Her twin Volvo 225hp diesel engines enable her to go from standing start to 24 knots in 15 seconds. With approximate fuel consumption of 50 litres per hour at 18 knots she is also proving economic to run for a boat of this kind.

Motorboat and Yachting have been covering the build of this Launch and recently joined us on the sea trials and were definitely impressed! Watch out for their article coming out in the October issue which will be published at the beginning of September in time for the Southampton Boat Show.
