Cockwells Modern and Classic Boatbuilding is situated in the idyllic village of Mylor Bridge, in the heart of Cornwall.
Travel by Car
Take the M5 south to Exeter and join the A30 along the backbone of Devon and Cornwall over the moors. From Truro pick up signs for Falmouth following the A39. Turn first left after passing the Norway Inn, signed posted to Carclew, follow this road to the end and turn left. At the next junction turn left and follow this road to Mylor Bridge (approximately 1 ¾ miles), at the T junction turn left and then right (Lemon Hill). Drive down the hill, over a small bridge and take the first exit on the mini roundabout on to Watering Road, quarter of a mile turn left, the yard is at the bottom on the left.
From Falmouth, take the B3292 towards Penryn, along Falmouth Road then Commercial Road, across the bridge and through the traffic lights, continue until you get to a right turn sign posted to Mylor, Flushing and Mylor Harbour (Church Road). Take this road all the way to Mylor Bridge, you will come down to a mini roundabout which you will need to take the second exit (turn right) on to Watering Road, quarter of a mile turn left, the yard is at the bottom on the left.

Nearby Newquay airport (a 30-minute drive) offers several connecting flights a day from London’s Stansted and Gatwick airports, as well as to other major UK cities.

Letting the train take the strain will take you through some amazing country side. The main station is at Truro. From there take the branch line to Falmouth. A sleeper service is also available between London Paddington and Truro.
