Your yacht can be refitted, maintained or modified by the expert team at Cockwells

Every boat requires regular and ongoing maintenance in order to keep it safe, seaworthy, comfortable and to protect its value as an investment.

The team at Cockwells is very pleased to carry out and manage the annual maintenance plans of many high-quality yachts for owners who know that when the sun is shining, they want to get out on the water, rather than be stuck in the marina wishing they'd had more time for varnish work or to trace the source of a troublesome deck leak.

We look after boats of all sizes and types, offering advice on their upkeep, help with the scheduling of maintenance and the best possible service and maintenance work as and when required.

We work on all manner of craft and are highly experienced in maintaining and repairing vessels built in a wide variety of materials and constructions, from yards around the world. We are comfortable working in fibreglass, wood, alloy and steel, ferro-cement vessels.

Whether you need major structural yacht modification, lengthening, osmosis treatment, rigging work, electrical or electronic systems assistance or blast cleaning and painting and varnishing, we can take care of the project ensuring your boat is ready when you need it.

We have specific experience in maintaining classic yachts including historic 8m racing yachts and many types of racing yacht. We are pleased to have worked on Jongert yachts which are famous for their comfort, looks and timeless appeal.

These yachts exude a classic nautical atmosphere and we ensure our work reflects that sense of quality. If you have a small refit project in mind or simply want some help with an existing job on a small boat, see the team at Mylor Creek Boatyard, who will be pleased to help.
