Cockwells yachts are beautiful, functional and also a business proposition

charterCould the pilot cutter be the perfect charter vessel?

It has not gone unnoticed that Cockwells yachts perform extremely well in the charter market.

Our pilot cutters can be seen plying UK waters undertaking this rather specialist role as a business for their owners.

Both Polly Agatha and Merlin perform charter duties, indeed it's highly recommended for people considering a pilot cutter as their next boat to charter an existing one for the weekend. You are unlikely to look back.

These boats were built to handle heavy weather with ease and comfort. Not only is there something for everyone to do, it is also possible to handle the rig with a very light crew which is handy if you are showing a new crew the ropes.

Internally a pilot cutter is a great choice for the charter market bringing all the charm and beauty of a classic yacht with a high level of functionality and we have selected a much more modern and luxurious interior using solid English Oak. The layout has a large luxurious master cabin with an en suite head and shower.

A boat such as Polly Agatha has traditional heads in the bow and a forward cabin with two berths and two extra occasional berths. The saloon has another four berths including two occasional on the saloon seats, providing a total of 10 berths, which is perfect when they are paying customers.

Our pilot cutters benefit from a large galley and navigational area which, while looking traditional, includes all the modern conveniences you may wish for, including everything required to license the boat as a sea school.
