About Redman Whiteley Dixon
The Redman Whiteley Dixon studio is set on the banks of the River Beaulieu in Hampshire, a fitting and inspiring location for the diverse team of yacht designers. Moving from their Chelsea offices in 2001 the studio has produced some of the most desirable interiors and exteriors for sailing and motor yachts in recent years. The directors take pride in their diverse portfolio and have gained the reputation of uncompromising quality in what has proven to be a renaissance in yacht design.
Starting from the first spark of an idea, the Redman Whiteley Dixon design process is truly holistic, guiding the project through to launch, the journey encapsulates full exterior and interior concepts to the minutest details. The contented clients are testament to the hugely enjoyable experience and often return for new projects.
The twelve strong team bring a wide and extensive proficiency in all aspects of yacht design from naval architecture, to design and specification of furniture, fixtures and equipment. Whilst they have the latest CAD and surfacing tools at their disposal they rely readily on the traditional methods of drawing and sketching to provide fully bespoke and intensively crafted yachts. This flexibility and knowledge have helped cement an excellent working partnership with the world’s best shipyards from New Zealand to the UK and Holland.
