Starting from the first spark of an idea, the Redman Whiteley Dixon design process is truly holistic, guiding the project through to launch, the journey encapsulates full exterior and interior concepts to the smallest of details. Their contented clients are testament to their work.

Their twelve-strong team brings a wide and extensive proficiency in all aspects of yacht design from naval architecture to design and specification of furniture, fixtures and equipment.

While they have the latest CAD and surfacing tools at their disposal they rely readily on the traditional methods of drawing and sketching to provide fully bespoke and intensively crafted yachts.

This flexibility and knowledge have helped cement an excellent working partnership with the world’s best shipyards from New Zealand to the UK and Holland.

As bespoke boat builders in traditional wood and modern composites, we build superyacht associated launches to brief for superyachts, working within the parameters of weight and size dictated by the parent vessel.

We are happy to work with either our partner designers or those of your preference – or your client’s preference. Each craft we build can be built to comply with the EU Recreational Craft Directive or any other recognized standard.

Hull construction can be in a variety of materials depending on the requirements of the vessel - from epoxy-infused Aramid e-glass foam sandwich to cedar strip planking sheathed with glass and epoxy.

We also offer a wide range of external finishes from a resin-infused veneer to high-quality paint systems. The choice of deck options includes resin-infused laminates and traditionally laid teak.

We produce individual castings and fabrications to personalise the deck gear and other fittings. Any of these fittings can be in a variety of finishes such as bronze, chromed bronze, 316 stainless steel or nickel plate, etc.

The result is a unique tender, perfectly-styled and built to meet the needs of the superyacht it tends.
